RecWorks are the organisers of the London CTOs. They have been involved with the group as the organisers since 2010 and have organised hundreds of events and made countless introductions between mentors and mentees. 

Who are RecWorks?

RecWorks are a community-driven recruitment company. They were established in 2006 and have been involved in building tech community's since 2007. They organise and run over 15 tech communities and use them as a way to build trust and report with community members, who often go on to use RecWorks as recruiters. 
 

We offer permanent and contract recruitment services for software developers and members of the tech industry primarily in the UK but also across Europe and wider.

Why do RecWorks sponsor the London CTOs?

RecWorks have been sponsoring the London CTOs for over 10 years as a way of both giving back and paying forward to the tech community.

 

Many of RecWorks current clients have joined the London CTOs as aspiring CTOs and gone on to become CTOs and startup founders. 

We are always keen to establish new relationships with clients and continue to support the London CTOs as a way of building new relationships in this space.

  • Can RecWorks help me recruit software developers?
    Yes. We have a long history of hiring software developers across the UK and especially in London. We’ve also helped place engineers across the EU. Given our work with the London Java Community, a meet up with 8k+ members, and one of the most active JUGs in Europe, this is our main area of expertise but we also specialise in technology recruitment as a whole which means we recruit for any of the following: DevOps, Front End (React, Vue and Angular), Node (Backend and Full Stack), C#, Scala, Data Engineering, Big Data, and the list goes on.
  • What makes us different to other recruiters?
    By attending the events we host we understand technologies on a deeper level and understand what “good looks like” which allows us to deliver faster time-to-hire. Along with the usual recruitment practices the market use (LinkedIn, Job Ads etc) we have exclusive access to the members who attend the events which gives us multiple candidate streams. Also by having such close contact to the tech community we’re able to provide relevant market insights on current trends and market salaries which not only helps attract talent but also retain your current talent.
  • How do RecWorks charge?
    We charge on a contingency basis, which means you will only pay if we are able to find and secure a placement.
  • Have you worked with other London CTOs members?
    Yes we have worked with lots of the CTOs in the London CTOs community. Sometimes we have met people through the London CTOs community and other times we have introduced our clients into the London CTOs. We can easily provide introductions to different London CTOs members who will happily give an honest account as to what RecWorks is like to work with.
