Check out this video from the vault from an event we ran in October 2020.
Here is the original synopsis:
About this event
Building a strong company culture is becoming increasingly important in the battle to hire and retain the top technical talent. This can be a difficult task in the best of times, especially for rapidly growing companies but this year has been one like no other with the transition for many companies to an increasingly distributed workforce.
During this roundtable we’ll be joined by leading expert on startup and high-growth company culture, Brett Putter, someone who has interviewed many founders and CEOs of successful high-growth start-ups to better understand how they defined, developed and implemented their company’s culture.
Brett is the founder and CEO of CultureGene a culture development platform helping companies to transition effectively to remote work. He has recently published a book called Culture Decks Decoded: Transform your Culture into a Visible, Conscious and Tangible Asset and will be publishing The Culture-Driven Leader in 2020.
This is an online event starting at 1 pm BST. This is a London CTOs event in association with CTO Craft. We have run a number of virtual events over recent months, previous events have covered topics such as finding your next role, remote tools and transitioning from the tech team to the leadership team. (Videos available on request).
RecWorks are the creators of many groups and communities including Meet-a-Mentor a free slack group that introduces aspiring CTOs to experienced CTOs, as well as more junior developers 2000 introductions made and counting! They also founded one of the largest Java User Groups in Europe the 7000 strong London Java Community. They are a community-driven recruitment agency focussing on tech placements in London.
