About this event
The role of CTO varies immensely from company to company, but are there patterns that can be observed based on the size of the organisation? How does the day to day role of a CTO at a startup vary from one that has to manage teams of teams within a large organisation.
During this event we will bring together people from organisations of various shapes and sizes, around the same table to discuss how the challenges of the roles differ and what it is like on the other side of the fence.
Who should sign up: • CTOs with experiences of different sized organisations who could offer opinions on various • CTOs who have spent their career working only for large organisations, or small organisations and want to know what it’s like from the other side of the fence • Aspiring CTOs who are eager to hear about future challenges they may face
How it will run: The roundtable will begin with a pre-requested question which will be asked by our host. Anyone that has experience on the matter is welcome to share their experience and lessons they have learned along the way. Others are free to jump in with questions to create a lively discussion. It will run from 12:30 until at least 13:00.
This is a London CTOs event in association with CTO Craft. This is our twelfth virtual roundtable over recent weeks, previous events have covered topics such as dealing with a crisis, finding your next role, remote tools and transitioning from the tech team to the leadership team.
