Check out this video from the vault from an event we ran in April 2020.

Here is the original synopsis:

About this event

We are running a CTO virtual roundtable as part of the London CTOs community to help with advice and sharing experiences on the role of a CTO and the many challenges for a CTO through a crisis.

Given the impact of the current pandemic, everyone is being thrust into a new challenging situation. We believe there could be opportunities for you to learn from others that have been through immensely challenging periods in the past.

This roundtable will bring people together who are interested in the topic. Whether you have survived a difficult situation and have the battle scars to show for it or are a first time CTO trying to figure out your next steps, if you have an interest in getting involved in the debate or just watching it then you are welcome to sign up.

Who should sign up: • CTOs who have been through a crisis and have a tale to tell • CTOs who are unsure of what to do next • CTOs who are interested to hear how others are dealing with it

What will you learn: • How other CTOs have coped with positions of uncertainty • Things you can do to prepare for the unexpected We are lucky to be joined by Steve Harris of Aistemos who will have a seat at the table.

How it will run: The roundtable will begin with a pre-requested question which will be asked by our host, anyone that has experience on the matter is welcome to share their experience and lessons they have learned along the way. Others are free to jump in with questions to create a lively discussion. It will run from 12:30 until at least 13:00.

This is an online event starting at 12.30pm BST. Attendees will be sent a link on or before the day of the event.
